We lose memory

N sick in the night, mild food poisoning by the look of it. You all slept in. It was past 9 before you got to the office. Glorious near-Spring weather under slanting morning sun. The playing fields parkland and river drenched in green and gold.

A lucky day, thinking more than talking or doing.

Jiejie dopey in the evening, slept early. Didi headed out to the yard with you, full of beans. The sky light creamy blue in the West where the sun had slipped from view. A single star directly above. A halogen-bright sliver of moon dropping to the horizon.

On the radio, an expert discussing elephants says this: If we become too dependent on modern technology we lose storage capacity. We lose memory.
