Black starlings

Sunday: moderately chilly, cloud cover, an indifferent day.

Took a longish walk after lunch, musing on interview prep and the topic at hand.

Watched a farming programme on TV with the kids before bed. Redhair cows and sheep in Cheshire, watercress farming in Dorset, a murmuration of starlings over Avalon Marshes in Somerset.

They flock they fold

they wheel and mass, black starlings

winter dusk
