Three kinds of love

Saturday: You figured out there will have been three kinds of love in your life.

1/ The love you felt as a child for the good people that raised you. A love of food, warmth and safety. A love that says: “You are mine!”

2/ The love you have for the one you fell in love with. Burning like a fire in your belly. With time, softening and reaching through your entire being. Filling you with strength and substance from fingers to toes, always. A love that says: “What’s mine is yours.”

3/ The love you have for these wacky tots. A feeling that tickles in your chest like gravity inverted for a moment. A love that says: “Guys, I am here for you. Come what may, I am here for you.”
